I've been working on a contest for y'all for a while and here it is! I'm going to give away a fully-stocked coupon binder for the lucky winner. 

So how do you win? Refer friends to like Full Cart Full Wallet on Facebook. When we reach 500 likes, I will give away one coupon binder to the person who refers the most fans and I will randomly draw one name from my fans to win the other coupon binder. So, share Full Cart Full Wallet with your friends and ask them to post on Full Cart Full Wallet's wall with your name so I can keep track of who has referred the most fans!

What's included with the coupon binder? Well, first, there are two, both are Mead Five Star, so good quality construction. Both will come with a pair of Scotch brand scissors, a calculator, store coupon policies for your area, 13 baseball card sleeves, 1 currency sleeve (larger pockets) and two full sets of current coupon inserts clipped and sorted. I'll even throw in some non-insert coupons I find.

The first binder is gray and blue. It contains 5 file pockets that you can access from inside or outside the binder, a mesh pocket for supplies, and a velcro pocket for a calculator or cell phone. It is also a zipper binder, which allows your coupons to stay secure. 

The second binder is teal green with a flower design. It has a single file pocket, a mesh pocket, and a pocket in the velcro closure. It is not a zipper binder which can make it easier to access on the go.

The All-Important Coupon Binder

When you get into couponing, you quickly realize you need an organization method. There are many--little coupon accordion organizer, envelopes, big accordion folder, or a binder. Each has its plusses and minuses.


I decided on a binder. I have a 3-ring zipper binder sorted by categories. I got the divider pages from the Krazy Coupon Lady here. I clip two inserts per week. I sometimes buy more inserts depending on what coupons will be coming. I use Sunday Coupon Preview to help me decide how many papers to buy. A general rule of thumb for me is: if I can save more that the cost of the paper within the first week, and expect to save 4-5 times the cost of the paper, I will buy 4-5 copies. I don't clip these inserts. I keep them in a gallon ziploc bag labeled with the week the insert was published.


Recently, I was at the Coupon Divas website and was listening to Kitty's video on coupon binders. She mentioned that she had found some pocket dividers that were especially good for coupons. Instead of the small baseball card holders (9 pockets), these are 3-pocket currency holders. They are as long as a 8 1/2 inch page, making them as long as the longest coupons. Yay! No folding! I just ordered some from Amazon:
