CVS has marked down their summer items, including Kingsford Match Light Charcoal. The price on the charcoal was $3.75. Use the $1/1 Kingsford Charcoal coupon to get this deal for $2.75. Here in Texas, our grilling season is nowhere NEAR over, so this is a great deal!
Thanks Craving Savings for the heads up!

GDA: Teachers,Check out Kroger's Clearance!

I went to my local Kroger today and pawed through the Clearance pile on my way out. Lately, I've picked up a bunch of toys for cheap, socked away for birthdays and Christmas. Today, I found some more gift items (Healing Garden gift set for $3.50, Dove Bath Set for $3.29, plus $1.00 off w/Q).
BUT, what really got me excited was...school supplies. Yeah, I'm weird like that. There were markers, paints, Color Wonder and Color Explosion (there are coupons out there for these), poster board, notebooks, and primary notebook paper. Most of the prices were pretty good ($2 for the Color Wonder, before Q), $2 for the paints, $1 for the markers, $1 for the notebooks, but the best deal was the primary notebooks (these are the type kids use to practice learning to write) for $0.75. I know, as a teacher and a mom, that these notebooks are often hard to find close to school, and tend to be more expensive than $0.75. I bought some for my son's former teacher, but there were still plenty left at my Kroger.
Proof it's not too early to think about Back to School!
